Description:

Usual 19-key modem German system layout, pillar and axle mounted, with no whisper key, ring keys, or rollers. The descending bore is not lined and there is no joint-locking device. Material: maple (heavily varnished) with German silver keys, ferrules,and ivory bell ring. Simple “U” tube return of bore on butt. French-type crook (probably not original). Tube length: 216.1cm. Bore: Conical. Top of wing, 1.0 cm.; bottom of wing, 1.45 cm.; bottom of long joint, 2.35 cm.; top of long joint, 3.6 cm. Condition: good.

This is a simple school model instrument equipped with only the bare essentials.
