Clinical Educator, Pediatric Respiratory Care
Duke University Medical Center
—

Steve spent his formative years in Canada where he attended Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS and completed his degree in Kinesiology in 1993. He moved to Florida in 1995, where he studied Respiratory Therapy, settling in North Carolina (and Duke) in 2000. He has been a clinician in adult & pediatric care, a travel RT, an ECMO specialist, a supervisor, and moved to his current role as clinical educator in 2017. When Steve is away from Duke, he imagines a life of woodworking and brewing beer but spends most of his time juggling schedules for 3 children. He does enjoy playing and coaching hockey, however, and occasionally makes time for the other stuff.
