Practitioner, Learning and Organization Development (L&OD)

I am a Practitioner in Duke’s Learning and Organization Development (L&OD) department. I have over 20 years of experience in educating adult learners in interpersonal skills, and leadership competencies that result in personal, and professional success. My work includes facilitating professional development courses in effective communication skills, managing team conflict, leading with emotional intelligence, managing meetings effectively, building trust, customer service excellence, navigating change in the workplace, managing multiple priorities, and performance management skills. In addition, as a team member of L&OD I facilitate Guide to Managing at Duke, and the New Hire Orientation programs.
I graduated from Atlantic Union College in Massachusetts with a B.S. in Education. I joined the team at L&OD in October 2014. Prior to coming to North Carolina, I worked for the State University of New York for 21 years as an Education Specialist and a Senior Education Specialist.
