Carrie Brooks

Carrie Brooks is an industrial engineer with over five years of experience around performance improvement, metric development, and data analysis. In her current role with Duke Clinical Engagement, she works closely with the leadership teams at Duke LifePoint hospitals to coordinate access to Duke Health’s clinical expertise and educational resources for the purpose of improving the quality of care for patients in those rural communities.

Carrie holds a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a certificate in Health Systems Engineering from NC State University. She previously worked as a management engineer in Duke Performance Services supporting the Duke Quality Network with scorecard and performance improvement initiatives. This work included developing various performance improvement and data related trainings for the fourteen Duke LifePoint hospitals. Carrie is Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified, and earned the Duke Training Excellence Certificate in 2017.
