Cameo V. Hartz has provided coaching and training to students, alumni, and staff at Duke University for over ten years. Her service and leadership roles have varied across undergraduate, graduate and alumni populations. Prior to her time at Duke, Cameo worked in career services, student advising, and orientation at University of Michigan, Hamilton College, and University of Rochester.
She has a M.A. in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University and a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Rochester. Her service work includes past board memberships on the ACPA Commission for Career Services and Career Counselor Technology Forum, as well as co-hosting the Career Counselor Technology Conference. She is the lead author of a monograph on curricular approaches to helping students prepare for life after college (New Directions for Student Services, Summer 2012) and has written for NACE. Cameo is also an alum of the CASE Summer Institute in Alumni Relations.
