Amy M. McArdle’s role in DLAR is to provide didactic and hands-on training to staff and Investigators who work with laboratory animals. She also performs quality assurance observations within DLAR to ensure compliance with animal care and use program policies, DLAR Standard Operating Procedures, and federal animal welfare regulations. Before becoming a part of the DLAR training team, Amy graduated from Parkland University with a degree in Veterinary Technology and worked as a laboratory manager at Washington University in St. Louis. She has over 25 years of experience working with a wide range of animals.
