In Spring 2025, Duke Kunshan University will offer its 2 credit university-wide course DKU102 Let’s Talk About Climate Change. The course is led by three DKU professors, James Miller, Chuanhui Gu and Anastasia Tsigkou, and features an additional fourteen faculty who will contribute their expertise over the semester.
DKU102 is a key element of the joint DKU-Duke commitment to place climate change at the forefront of the two universities’ missions. It is not an environmental science course. The course shows, in a completely interdisciplinary way, how climate change affects all academic disciplines, and how all DKU students, no matter their academic background or major, can play a part in effecting positive change regarding climate change issues, starting with talking about it.
