Julie is the Associate Director of DevLab, collaborating with Dr. Field on the lab’s overall management and strategic direction. She contributes high-level project management to lab research projects and oversees lab operations, development, partnerships, compliance, fundraising, and grant management. 

Joining DevLab in 2020, Julie brings over 15 years of experience in research and assessment within the nonprofit sector and academia. She has managed and provided technical support for projects with the U.S. Department of State, USAID, and the World Bank, among others, and conducted research field work in the Caribbean, South America, South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the United States.

Julie is particularly passionate about education and workforce development, social protection, and inclusive growth.

She holds an MPA with a specialization in International Development Policy and Management from NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from George Mason University.
