Lanfang Xiuhu 蘭房繡戶 [elegant and delicately carved room]

Here lanfang xiuhu 蘭房繡戶 refers to the young lady, Yanyu’s room. Lanfang literally means an elegant room and was very often used to refer to a woman’s room in ancient Chinese literature. Xiuhu literally means a door with colorful paintings and delicately carved patterns and generally refers to a beautiful room. Qihu is also used to refer to a woman’s room.
