By: Stephen Toback

YouTube has introduced a new app called YouTube Create, specifically designed for creators. This app offers a range of easy-to-use, free tools for video editing and the addition of various effects. It caters to creators looking to produce both short-form content like Shorts and longer videos. Within the app, creators can access creative elements such as stickers, GIFs, and effects to enhance their video projects. Moreover, YouTube Create provides access to a library of royalty-free tracks, allowing creators to select suitable music for their videos without copyright concerns. The app also simplifies tasks like audio cleanup and automated caption generation. Initially launched for Android, YouTube Create is entering beta testing in eight markets worldwide, including the U.S., Germany, France, United Kingdom, Indonesia, India, Korea, and Singapore. YouTube has plans to further expand the app’s feature set and availability to more creators in the future.
