BIOS:

Gregor Moder is a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana and a Visiting Fellow in the Department of English in Princeton University (Spring 2024). His is the author of Hegel and Spinoza: Substance and Negativity (Northwestern UP, 2017), Antigone. An Essay on Hegel’s Political Philosophy (in Slovenian, FDV 2023, forthcoming in German with Turia+Kant), an edited volume on The Object of Comedy (Palgrave Macmillan, 2020), and is co-editing a volume on The Ethics of Ernst Lubitsch (forthcoming with Rowman & Littlefield in 2024).

Bara Kolenc is a Research Associate at the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, and a current president of the International Hegelian Association Aufhebung. She is the author of Repetition and Enactment: Kierkegaard, Psychoanalysis, Theater (DTP Analecta, 2014, in Slovenian), and Repetition and Subjectivity: Kierkegaard, Freud, Lacan (under review at the Northwestern UP). She’s currently at work on her new book Voyeurism and Exhibitionism on the Internet: The Libidinal Economy of the Spectacle of Instanternity. She is also an artist in the field of performing arts, and a recipient of Germany’s highest theatre award Theatertreffen Stückemarkt Commission of Work in 2016 and of The Highest Artistic Title of the University of Ljubljana in 2018.
