Please revisit this page as the exam date approaches for any new updates regarding final Part 1.
Final Part 1 is scheduled for Saturday, May 4, from 7:00 to 8:15 pm ET in LSRC B101 (same location as the lecture). If you have accommodations from SDAO, you’ll hear from Alex soon about details.
The content of Final Part 1 will encompass material from lectures 1-9, written assignment W1, discussions 1-5, and coding assignments C1-3.
The exam will be conducted under closed-book conditions, without the use of notes, books, laptops, internet, or external assistance. However, you are allowed to use a one-page cheat sheet (two-sided) of your own design, which can be handwritten or typed. You may also use a basic, non-programmable calculator, though it is not mandatory.
Note that exam questions may require you to extend or combine basic ideas and algorithms from class. Ensure you comprehend the fundamentals alongside being able to procedurally execute algorithms. The exam will not specifically test your knowledge of Python, but questions may assume familiarity with coding assignments C1-3.
