Duke EPIC collaborates with organizations and systems to meet the challenge of transferring evidence-based practices from a research/academic setting to front-line clinical practice. Duke EPIC’s Collaborative methodology helps organizations and service providers rapidly implement and sustain evidence-based practices.
Collaborative Process
Duke EPIC’s Collaborative Process begins with planning and launch phases that lay the groundwork for each Collaborative and kick start Collaborative activities. Monitoring and assessing phases are the longest period of the Collaborative with three two-day Learning Sessions, and three approximately four-month Action Periods.
Projects
Duke EPIC has worked with a variety of partners and covered a variety of topics including: Ambulatory Care Services Optimization, Integrated Smoking Cessation Care, Mental Health Access and Coordination, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Trauma-Focused Coping (TFC).
