Location

The event will be held in the Great Hall of the Mary Duke Biddle Trent Semans Center for Health Education, located at the heart of Duke University’s medical campus. The Great Hall is a spacious and versatile venue, designed to accommodate events that foster collaboration and innovation. It’s the perfect setting for our dynamic forum.

Getting There

  • Walking:
    We encourage attendees who are already on campus or nearby to walk (or use mobility devices) to reach the venue. The Mary Duke Biddle Trent Semans Center is easily accessible from most parts of campus.
  • By Car:
    The venue is easily accessible from major highways. If you’re driving, the center is located near Duke’s main hospital, and there are clear signs leading to the venue from all directions.
  • By Public Transit:
    Several bus lines serve the Duke University campus, with stops close to the Mary Duke Biddle Trent Semans Center. We encourage attendees to use public transportation or walk if possible.

Building Access

There are two ways to access Great Hall located on Level 0 of The Mary Duke Biddle Trent Semans Center for Health Education:

Level 0 entrance from at the Searle Center Drive entrance. We will have door greeters here to open the doors for you (access is only available to Duke Health System Cardholders).

Level 2 entrance from Medical Center Greenspace (aka Nosh Café Entrance) will have 2 options to get to Level 0. First option is to walk past Nosh Café and walk down the stairs to Level 0. The second option is to take the hallway by the entrance video board to the elevators down to Level 0.

Parking Information

Parking is available for attendees in several nearby parking facilities:

  1. Duke Medicine Circle Parking Garage
    Address: 302 Trent Dr, Durham, NC 27710
    Located a short walk from the venue, this garage offers additional parking. It is connected to the venue via a well-lit pedestrian path.
  2. Research Drive Parking Garage
    Address: 2301 Erwin Rd, Durham, NC 27705
    Another nearby option, this garage is also within walking distance of the Great Hall.

Parking Fees

A nominal fee may apply for parking in these garages. We recommend having a payment method ready, as some garages may require pre-payment or credit card transactions only.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking spaces are available in all the above garages. Please ensure you display the appropriate permit to use these spaces.
