| Dr. Johnson is a Pediatrician with clinical interests in community-based pediatric care, health equity, and developing strategies to improve access to high-quality palliative care services for marginalized populations. She is a 2021 Sojourns Scholar, where she will deepen her understanding of racial health disparities in pediatric serious illness, while using complementary research techniques to center the voices of BIPOC patients and families. Dr. Johnson holds a joint appointment in the Department of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine and is the Founder and Executive Director of The Wendo Project, a non-profit in Kenya that promotes health and economic opportunities for women. |
