| Ms. DeVeaux is a licensed Preacher in the African Methodist Episcopal Church and a first-year Theology, Medicine, and Culture Initiative candidate at Duke Divinity School (TMC '24). She is passionate about finding pathways to social healing at the intersection of intellectual inquiry and spiritual practice with a focus on adult caregiving, spirituality and memory loss, and the community-based approach to aging. Ms. DeVeaux holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Gerontology and Family and Human Services. She is a dual-degree student in the School of Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (MSW '26) and plans to explore a career in geriatric social work with a focus in hospice care. |
