| Professor Aaron has over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in hospice and palliative care settings. Her research focuses on end-of-life decision-making, healthcare disparities, and the caregivers of patients living with chronic illness. Professor Aaron continues her work as a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner in the University Hospitals and utilizes community based participatory research methods to most effectively communicate the benefits of advance care planning with patients and their families. She served as Principal Investigator on a study of end-of-life decision-making among patients with advance stage cancer and she serves on the Ohio Board of Health Palliative Care and Quality of Life Council. |
