Expression Systems
We utilize a variety of expression platforms to produce proteins across multiple scales and complexity levels, including mammalian systems, prokaryotic systems and insect cell systems. This range of systems allows us to express proteins with appropriate post translational modifications and folding characteristics required for downstream applications.
Purification Platforms
To support purification and analysis, the lab is equipped with multiple units of fast protein liquid chromatography (FPLC) systems, including ÄKTA Pure, ÄKTA Go, and Bio-Rad NGC platforms. We also utilize high-throughput purification technologies, including the Protein Maker (Protein Biosolutions), which enable us to carry out high-throughput, scalable, and reproducible purification workflows tailored to the needs of each project—whether preparing milligram quantities for structural studies or smaller-scale batches for screening and assay development.
