Our lab is equipped with advanced instrumentation to support high-quality cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) research and data analysis:

Sample Preparation:

We utilize Leica Microsystems plunge freezers for consistent and reliable vitrification of cryo-EM grids.

In-House Instrumentation:

A dedicated 100 kV Tundra Cryo-TEM (Thermo Fisher Scientific) equipped with a Falcon C direct electron detector, enables in-house grid screening and preliminary data collection.

High-Resolution Data Collection:

For advanced structural studies, we have access to a 300 kV Titan Krios (Thermo Fisher Scientific) equipped with a Gatan K3 detector, available through Duke University’s shared cryo-EM facilities.

Computational Resources:

We maintain high-performance workstations optimized for cryo-EM data processing, supported by a dedicated server infrastructure for robust data storage and computational workflow management.
