2019 TRIANGLE ZEBRAFISH SYMPOSIUM

The 2019 Triangle Zebrafish Symposium took place on April 16th in the Great Hall of the Trent Semans Center at Duke University from 8 AM to 6 PM, with a full day of talks, posters, and zebrafish.

The keynote speaker was Dr. Randall Peterson, the L.S. Skaggs Presidential Endowed Professor and Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Utah. Dr. Peterson’s lab uses the zebrafish as a high-throughput drug screening platform to identify new compounds to target a variety of diseases, including heart, nervous system, and metabolic disorders.
