Sci-Fi Book Club

WiSE Sci-Fi Book Club meets approximately quarterly to discuss science fiction by female authors over dinner. Club members nominate and select books by vote. WiSE provides copies of the selected books to members who request them, as well as food and drink to members who attend the discussions.

UpcomingA Wrinkle in Time

In March, we plan to discuss A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle. Current book club members wished to revisit this childhood classic (and Newberry Medal winner) with an eye to how it presents science and other themes from an adult perspective, in concert with the premier of the female-directed film on March 9. Join the mailing list and contact Chelsea request your copy. A Wrinkle in Time is the first of a series; start now to have time to read the sequels.
