Learning about Assumptions

It’s a surprise that we are making so many assumptions a day from such a few facts and we haven’t even noticed it! We are assuming Elias’ father’s feelings, what Adi’s room looks like, that Vernice has a daughter or whether Collins’ room is a mess.

Sometimes we guess right, but mostly we guess wrong. And when it comes to our life, conflicts arise then. And maybe after that, the more we guess or assume, the more serious the situation will be. At this point, somebody has to stop and to clarify, what we are truly thinking about. There’s a culture issue or a misunderstanding. Not everyone is mean to us on purpose. We need forgiveness and perspective.
