Mexico

Mexico qualified by making it to the finals of the CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Tournament last October. They finished atop Group B and beat Honduras in the finals to claim the trophy of the tournament.

Honduras

Honduras reached the semi-finals of the CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Tournament finishing second in their group behind USA. USA was favored to qualify for the Olympics, but Honduras was able to secure a 2-0 victory in the semi-finals against USA to earn their way to the Olympics.
