Janne Andersson
Janne Andersson, born in 1962, has spent his entire senior and managerial career in Sweden. Though he did not make an appearance in his player career, he has more success managing teams in the Swedish league. Most notably, he won the Allsvenskan (Swedish league) and super cup with IFK Norrköping in 2015, stunning former champions Malmö FF (Zlatan Ibrahimović’s boyhood club) in his last away game in the league. Taking over the Swedish national team in 2016, he led them to an unlikely World cup qualification, beating Italy 1-0 in the playoff game. In the same group as former champion Germany and Mexico, Andersson faces an uphill battle out of the group stage.
