Morocco Manager

Hervé Renard

Steering a Moroccan side returning to its first World Cup in 20 years, Hervé Renard is a manager with notable success in African football. He oversaw Zambia to an Africa Cup of Nations victory in 2012 and then saw Ivory Coast to a title in the same tournament three years later. Renard is the only coach with two victories in the Africa Cup of Nations with different teams. His teams are noted for the discipline, hard work, and attacking flair that are instilled by the frenchman. Renard’s Atlas Lions certainly have their work cut out for them in Russia, drawn into a group alongside European powers Spain and Portugal.
