Claudio Bravo was born in a very small town of Viluco de Buin, Chile. He began playing soccer at at very young age starting of as a forward then in later years he became a defender. Bravo joined the Colo-colo youth team when he was 11 years old and later was signed to the first team of the Chilean league when he was 19 [1].

Real Sociedad in Spain signed Bravo with who he made his debut in La Liga agains Mallorca [1]. Bravo has become one of the best goalkeepers in Real Sociedad history. He is the captain of the Chilean National team because he exemplifies leadership on and off the field [1]. Bravo is a very important piece to the success of Chile in the Copa America.
