Two Story+ graduate mentors share their experiences with the program after its successful launch this summer.
The Innovation Grants help doctoral programs develop and implement curricular changes designed to enrich students’ academic experiences, and prepare them for transformative roles inside and outside of academia.
The internship experiences are designed to help enrich students’ dissertations and prepare students for academic and nonacademic careers.
At the internship program launch, our internship partners focused not on what skills they were looking for, but what new experiences and skills they can offer our Ph.D. students in the humanities and interpretive social sciences.
“My time as a PFF fellow has allowed me to gain insights about the day-to-day life as a professor: insights I would never have been able to make at my own institution; insights that prepared me well for making my own career choices.”
