SYNOPSIS
The three-day virtual workshop brought together experts in the broad area of neural networks. Conference themes:
- Analysis and understanding of neural network architectures, loss landscape of neural networks, generative modeling and distribution
- Learning using neural networks, connections of neural networks with more traditional approaches in statistical learning.
The workshop encouraged exchange of ideas, stimulated new research directions, and fostered future collaborations. More here.

March 2020 | Quantitative Investigations of Gerrymandering and Redistricting Conference
SYNOPSIS
This conference centered around an event sponsored by the Duke Law school on which featured lawyers involved in the landmark North Carolina Gerrymandering cases. Experts from around the country presented short to medium length talks and discussion ensued to exchange ideas and perspectives. More here.
