I am an economist with research interests in environment, development, energy, and innovation. I study how lack of access to modern energy services affects environmental, social, and economic outcomes in low- and middle-income countries. I am also interested in the development, innovation, and diffusion of new technologies, both in developed and developing countries.

I am currently a Senior Policy Associate at the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions at Duke University. I graduated with a PhD in Environmental Economics from Duke in 2017.
