Calling all women in CS/ECE: While the school year has just started, it’s not too early to be thinking about next summer. If you’d like to have a summer internship in Silicon Valley or Raleigh/Durham, shared housing with other Duke students, networking opportunities at top tech companies, 1×1 mentoring with industry leaders, and dedicated career support and guidance throughout the year, apply to the Duke Technology Scholars Program (DTech). DTech not only provides all of these benefits, but also involves an unparalleled opportunity to engage in a strong community of other Duke women in CS/ Engineering – both current students and alumni.
The online application form is available at dtech.duke.edu/how-to-apply. Applications will be accepted until December, but some companies are already beginning to fill their internship spots, so it’s best to apply as soon as possible. If you’d like more information, please visit the DTech website or contact Monica Jenkins (email@example.com) or any of the 34 Duke students who participated in DTech this past summer.
