ViTaL Interest Group Meeting – Videos and Pedagogy: Fitting it All Together

Join the Duke Digital Initiative in the Office of Information Technology (OIT) as they kick off the Videos in Teaching & Learning (ViTaL) interest group sessions for the spring 2015 semester:

“Videos and Pedagogy:  Fitting it All Together”
presented by Seth Anderson, Academic Technology Consultant, CIT

There are a number of ways that video can be employed as part of the teaching and learning process, but finding ways to integrate it into the curriculum effectively can be challenging.  We’ll talk about weaving the use of video into the course design process, and consider some examples that show how this can be done.

Date: Thursday, January 15
Time: noon – 1:00 pm
Location: RENCI Conference Room, OIT Telecommunications Building (directions)

No registration is required. Feel free to bring a brown bag lunch.

A complete schedule is available here: http://vital.oit.duke.edu/peer-support/  Meetings are open to faculty, staff, and students, although topics will focus on faculty interests.  In addition to attending the meetings, you can join the mailing list, vital@duke.edu, by going to https://lists.duke.edu/sympa/subscribe/vital.
