ViTaL Interest Group Meeting: Ten Questions to Jump-Start your Video Project

Join the Duke Digital Initiative in the Office of Information Technology (OIT) for the next Videos in Teaching & Learning (ViTaL) interest group session:

“Ten Questions to Jump-Start Your Video Project”
Presented by: Donna Mitchell, CEO & Founder, Horizon Productions

With video cameras now widely available–you probably have one on your smartphone–it would seem that making a video project is super easy. And it can be. But having a successful video that contains the right information and also connects with your audience still requires up-front planning. Donna will review a set of foundational questions that help you shape the scope of your video and ensure a strong foundation for creating it.

Date: Thursday, November 20
Time: noon – 1:00 pm
Location: RENCI Conference Room, OIT Telecommunications Building (directions)

No registration is required. Feel free to bring a brown bag lunch.

A complete schedule is available here: http://vital.oit.duke.edu/peer-support/  Meetings are open to faculty, staff, and students, although topics will focus on faculty interests.  In addition to attending the meetings, you can join the mailing list, vital@duke.edu, by going to https://lists.duke.edu/sympa/subscribe/vital.
