OIT Training is hiring student staff for fall 2014: Apply Now

The Office of Information Technology is hiring student staff for the Technology Training Program for fall 2014! We are looking especially for candidates who are interested in teaching multimedia-focused topics like WordPress, HTML, and iMovie. We’re also very interested in candidates with experience in 3D Printing.

Students who work in our Technology Training program teach classes on tech topics to the Duke community – on subjects from iMovie to InDesign to Excel and all software in between. It’s an exciting job with flexibility – a great way to get teaching experience, learn to prepare and present to others, and to gain a professional edge on your resume while still in school.

We’re looking for students who are comfortable with technology and have some experience with teaching, public speaking or presenting. Students in the training program frequently also split time with our group that works at the Link Service Desk or the Multimedia Project Studio. So if you have an interest in those areas as well, we’d love to talk to you.

If you think you might be a good candidate for this position, check out our job descriptions and applications on the OIT website, and send in an application! http://oit.duke.edu/help/swat/join.php
