Staff: New L&OD Courses Announced for fall 2014

Duke Learning & Organization Development (L&OD) just released their course offerings for fall 2014. Courses are available to Duke employees per departmental professional development policies and guidelines. To view the schedule and to register, go here: http://sn.im/27bhzep

Computer Technology:
Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, Powerpoint) and SAP Performance
Management Tool for DUHS Managers.

Professional Development:
New courses: Managing Meetings Effectively, Train the Trainer 1 – The Basics of Training, and Train the Trainer 2 – Designing Training. Additional courses: Communicating with Diplomacy and Tact, Customer Service Excellence, Fundamentals of Business Writing, Managing Multiple Priorities, Notary Public, Personality and Effective Communication, Professional Branding, and Project Management Fundamentals.

Leadership and Management:
New courses: Building Trust in the Workplace and Managing from the Middle. Additional courses: Documenting Employee Performance, Fundamentals of Coaching, Fundamentals of Feedback, Keys to Supervisory Success, and Leading with Emotional Intelligence.
