Today is the Day!

TechExpo 2014 is finally here!  Don’t forgot to come to the Washington Duke Inn (3001 Cameron Blvd, Durham, NC 27705 for your GPS needs) for a great conference and opportunity to meet and network with colleagues from all around Duke University Health System and Duke University.

Didn’t register, don’t worry.  We can get you registered throughout the morning.  You can attend all of the presentations and we may even have an extra boxed lunch for you.

The TechExpo program committee has put together a great program that will bring a wide variety of information and value to Duke’s IT community.  You can view the entire program here or view a printable PDF version here to plan your itinerary for the event.  We are looking forward to everyone joining us for these collaborative and educational sessions.

TechExpo 2014 Registration is Now Open

It’s the most wonderful time of year, time to register for Tech Expo 2014.  The event, to be held on Jan. 9 at the Washington Duke Inn, includes a full slate of interesting and timely programming, along with some valued Duke partners available to share information on their latest technology products and services.

Please register below and plan on joining your colleagues from Duke Medicine IT Staff and IT professionals from around Duke University.

Abstract Submission Deadline Extended to Friday, Nov. 8

Tech Expo 2014 is still accepting final proposals until Nov. 8.  If you have a really exciting technology that other should learn about, please do not hesitate to submit your proposal!  You can submit your abstract here.

Everyone who has submitted a proposal will hear from the Tech Expo committee beginning the week of Nov. 18 with feedback, questions or confirmation that the proposal has been selected.

Call for Abstracts

We are looking forward to an innovative and exciting program for Tech Expo 2014.  To have a good mix of sessions we are calling for abstracts for presentations, panel discussions, small group discussions (birds of a feather), labs and posters or information tables.

Please consider presenting some of the new and innovative technology and tools that you are using within your department, group or school at Tech Expo in order to share your knowledge and experience with your technology peers and help other departments through your understanding of how these tools and technologies have benefited your users.

Using our simple Qualtrics form, you can submit an abstract (100-150 words) for a presentation, talk, lab or poster presentation.

The 7th annual Tech Expo will be held at the Washington Duke InnJanuary 9, 2014.  We are looking for you to present your innovative practices and to share your expertise. Tech Expo is an annual day-long event that brings Duke’s Information Technology professionals together to share ideas and experiences, learn from each other and celebrate accomplishments. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with the Duke IT community.

We are looking to you, Duke’s IT professionals, to consider presenting at this year’s conference, or to provide suggestions for topics you would like to see presented.
