Thousands of Duke faculty, staff and students travel internationally each year, to
dozens of temporary and permanent sites. How can you help your travelers stay connected, productive and secure, wherever in the world they are? In this presentation, we’ll share tips and best practices for Duke international travelers. We’ll talk about Eduroam wireless roaming, VPN, and a range of apps you may not know exist to help your travelers out. Plus, we’ll talk about the range of Duke and non-Duke options for cell phones abroad (always a tricky subject). Come to learn more about best practices for traveler support, and leave more empowered to help out your user community!
