Events over the last week, including a mass shooting in a Pittsburgh synagogue and mail bombs sent to prominent Democrats, have many people asking whether America’s divisive political rhetoric led to the violent acts. Triangle Center Director, David Schanzer, joins KQED host Michael Krasny and Carolyn Lukensmeyerexecutive director of the National Institute for Civil Discourse, to discuss the issue.
