Interview: David Schanzer joins KQED radio to discuss NYC terrorist attack

On Tuesday afternoon, October 31st, a man killed eight people and wounded at least a dozen others when he drove his truck off the road in New York City.  Police shot the man, who remains in custody. NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio called it a “cowardly act of terror”. Officials also called it a terrorist attack, though New York Governor Andrew Cuomo also said it was the act of a “lone wolf” and “no evidence… suggests a wider plot or a wider scheme.”

Triangle Center Director, David Schanzer, joins KQED host Michael Krasny and two other guests to discuss the attack.
