After several requests for this software, OIT is now offering discounted licensing for Deep Freeze! Deep Freeze allows system administrators to protect the core operating system and configuration files on a workstation or server by restoring a computer back to its original configuration each time the computer restarts.

The current price through Duke is $13 per license. Each license allows the software to be installed on one computer. This price will decrease as more licenses are purchased through the program. If there is not enough demand for discounted licensing at Duke for 50 licenses over the next year, the program will be discontinued in January 2018.
