Winter 2016 SNCF Voting Rights Teach-Ins

North Carolina’s draconian new election laws have drawn national attention because they suppress voting rights for minorities, the elderly, and college students. In response, North Carolinians are pushing back through legal challenges to the laws and widespread voter education efforts. Joining this effort, SNCF will host voting rights teach-ins on college campuses across the state. Starting on January 26, our teach-ins will educate students on the history of voting rights, mobilize students to register and vote in upcoming elections, and empower students to protect voting rights on campus for the long term.
