Is SleepRight a drug trial?
No, you will not be asked to take medications as part of the study.

What if I work?
We try our best to accommodate your schedule. However, because this study involves several visits (up to 12 total), you may have to make arrangements with your employer.

 

DURING STUDY

What lab tests do you run?
Please see Blood Work and Urinalysis.

What are the risks of the study?
Risks associated with drawing blood from your arm include momentary discomfort and/or bruising. Infection, excess bleeding, clotting, or fainting are also possible, although unlikely.

Risks of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring may include discomfort in the arm while the blood pressure cuff is inflated, and more rarely, skin irritation and bruising.

There is the potential risk of loss of confidentiality. Every effort will be made to keep your information confidential; however, this cannot be guaranteed. Your personal information may be viewed by individuals involved in this research and may be seen by people including those collaborating, funding, and regulating the study.

You may stop your participation in this study at any time.

 

AFTER STUDY

Will I receive my results from the study?
At your request, we can provide you and/or your physician with a summary of your lab tests and blood pressure after you complete the study. Aggregate, de-identified study results will be posted on ClinicalTrials.gov.
