More than forty flutists and bassoonists have become commissioners of two new works of chamber music: INSCRIPTIONS by Stephen Jaffe and a forthcoming trio for flute, bassoon and piano by Mary Kouyoumdjian. The consortium’s leaders are Mike Harley and Jennifer Parker-Harley, both of the University of South Carolina School of Music, Alarm Will Sound, and various other great groups.
