Dr. Dorothy Sipkins, MD, PhD, is the principal investigator of the Sipkins Lab. She received a B.A.S. in Biology and Classics, as well as an M.D. and Ph.D from Stanford University. She subsequently did an internship and internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by an oncology fellowship at MGH/The Dana Farber Cancer Institute. She started her lab at the University of Chicago as an assistant professor, then moved to Duke in 2014 to begin her position as an associate professor.
