Katie Freedy-Undergraduate Researcher


Katie is originally from Clearwater, Florida and is currently a sophomore at Duke studying Neuroscience, with a minor in biology and chemistry, on a pre-health track. After graduation, Katie plans on starting medical school, with the goal of eventually working in the pediatric field. She works with Eric Hastie to investigate examine the role of laminin in facilitating distal tip cell migration. Outside of lab she enjoys Duke Basketball, musicals, and being outdoors in general.
