I am currently a sophomore planning on majoring in Biology. I joined Help Desk because I hoped not to just learn about and witness the social determinants comprising healthcare, but to contribute to helping patients with the struggles affecting their health outcomes outside a medical context. I hope to give my maximum effort to help patients who are facing adversity, not only by directing them to resources that will help them, but also by offering comfort, empathy, and support. Outside of academics, my hobbies include dancing and listening to all types of music! My goals for the future are to hopefully attend medical school and become a practicing physician.
