About

In the Spring 2013 Science Fiction/Science Fact course, the students were challenged to create Science Fiction/Science Fact creative fiction short stories for their final projects.  Instead of writing traditional literary or research essays, our students penned stories that feature quantum mechanics, special relativity, superposition, and speculative physics as a guiding force for both fictional plots and innovative narrative forms. We received the stories you see collected here.

Check back regularly to the site. Our esteemed professors, literary expert Dr. N. Katherine Hayles and particle physicist Dr. Mark C Kruse are hoping to post their own quantum fiction short stories there soon.
