On 6.7.2022, the U.S. Senate Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe—also known as the Helsinki Commission—invited our Rethinking Diplomacy fellow Dr. Benjamin Schmitt to speak about European Energy Security Post-Russia. Schmitt was joined by Yuriy Vitrenko (CEO, Naftogaz Ukraine) and Costanze Stelzenmüller (Senior Fellow, Brookings Institution.)
