Corina Martinez, PT, DPT, ATC/L is a senior physical therapist and a certified athletic trainer with Duke Health. She is a board-certified sports clinical specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She received a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Duke University. She has been a mentor with Duke’s Sports Physical Therapy Residency since 2012 and Division I Sports Fellowship since 2014, providing instruction on sports-related concussion care and musculoskeletal ultrasound. She has extensive experience educating healthcare professionals on sports-related concussion care and providing lectures for organizations including Duke Health, the Duke University Doctor of Physical Therapy program, the Elon University Doctor of Physical Therapy program and the APTA Combined Sections meeting among others. She also serves as the program manager for the Duke Sports Concussion Clinic. Her specialty areas of practice include acute and post-operative sports and orthopedic injuries and sports-related concussion. She is also actively involved in multiple research projects and has co-authored numerous publications.
