Beth Buzzell, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, is an assistant professor and co-coordinator of clinical education at Campbell University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. She received a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Brown University in 2010, a Doctor of Physical Therapy at Duke University in 2014 and is currently completing her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Health Administration and Education at William Carey University. She completed an orthopedic residency at Duke Health in 2015 and became board-certified as a specialist in orthopedics in 2016. She completed the Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship at Duke Health in 2017, becoming a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. She completed the Faculty Development Residency at Duke University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2022. She additionally co-coordinated the Duke Health Orthopaedic Residency from 2018-2021. Her research and interests include developing and assessing clinical reasoning in the classroom and clinic.
