Health Fair and Panel September 9th, 2018!

This coming Sunday, September 9th from 2:00pm – 3:30pm, there will be a “Prehealth Check-Up” health fair and panel held in the Trent Semans Center Auditorium. For those interested, please remember to register at https://candidate.gradleaders.com/DukeU/Candidates/Login.aspx?pid=4060&workshopID=74200. The Pre-PT Association will have a table at the fair following the panel, so please stop by and ask us any questions you may have!

Additionally if you’ve never been to Trent Semans, the Pre-PT Association will have representatives waiting at 1:45pm on the steps of the chapel to walk students over.

The Career Center, Health Professions Advising, and the Academic Advising Center provide this brief description of the Prehealth Check-Up:

The Prehealth Check-Up is designed to provide first and second year pre-health students with an early exploration of the healthcare industry and career possibilities. Panelists representing different careers within the health field will educate students about a variety of career options to explore and share their own professional journeys. Students will also be provided with information regarding volunteer and research opportunities at Duke! Plus, there will be a chance to mingle and network with panelists and other students, as well as learn about student-run pre-health organizations on campus. Career Center staff will also provide a personal introduction to resources available in and through the Career Center. This event is co-sponsored by Health Professions Advising & the Academic Advising Center.

Please feel free to reach out to Cindy Pan at yp59@duke.edu for any questions or concerns. We look forward to seeing you there!
